Great news for fans of the beloved farming simulator game Stardew Valley, as the developer has announced an upcoming update!
ConcernedApe developers of The Stardew Valley 1.6 update are officially releasing soon; they’re taking a short break from Haunted Chocolatier to focus on the farming sim again.
According to a tweet posted on the developer’s official Twitter account this weekend, the much-anticipated 1.6 update is in the works and set to feature some exciting changes in the coming year.
While the update is expected to bring some new game content, the primary focus of the 1.6 updates will be on improving the game’s modding capabilities. The developer has stated that the changes will make the game much easier and more powerful for modders.
However, fans hoping for a massive update similar to last year’s 1.5 release may be a little disappointed. The developer has confirmed that the upcoming update will be “much less” in terms of new content than the previous update.
Despite this, the news of an upcoming update has still sparked excitement within the Stardew Valley community, as fans eagerly await further information on what to expect. As of yet, there is no official release date for the 1.6 updates, but fans can rest assured that it’s in the works and will be coming soon on their gaming screen.
Barone shared this news via a tweet on their official Twitter account, where they stated that they want to make sure that the next update for Stardew Valley is the best it can be for the game’s devoted fanbase.
Here’s the tweet we read for you:-
“There is going to be a Stardew 1.6 update. It’s mostly changed for modders (which will make it easier & more powerful to mod). But there is also new game content, albeit much less than 1.5. I’m taking a break from Haunted Chocolatier to work on this at the moment. Then back to HC” on April 16, 2023.
